We Said The Update's Soon But Not How Soon! [Devlog 2]
Major Devlog!
Welcome to the first Major Update of void◆sprite! Alongside the Quick Convert feature mentioned in the prior post, we have a major milestone feature make its first appearance! Welcome, one and all, none other than
- The Palettized Editor
The Palettized Editor may be accessed from the launchpad by choosing the corresponding option, and allows saving / loading custom palettes. SPK and BDY-type files from XCOM, alongside the XYZ format used in RPGMaker 2000 & 2003 are, by default, opened in this mode. The Palettized Editor respects the colour order in the palette upon saving (Huge thanks to the OpenXCom community for this suggestion!). This mode may be quit at any time via selecting the Open in RGB Editor (ALT+F+R) in the File tab.
- IMPORTANT NOTE!
The Palettized Editor is still in active development, and its addition required numerous code changes. Please, report any sort of bugs or crashes to the github or itch.io immediately. Your help is greatly valued!
Until next time, the void◆sprite Team.
